This course is part of the Healthcare Administration MicroMasters program which consists of 7 courses and a capstone exam. Equipped with the appropriate tools, healthcare administrators can become the change agents within their organizations. This course provides learners with key constructs, theories and practices associated with leadership, change management, and organizational behavior. Learners will be introduced to the change management process and methods for identifying key cultural features of an organization. Learners will be able to diagnosis, develop, and implement organizational culture change through the use of social, behavioral, and organizational science.
An excellent online course offered by edX: how it works
edX courses consist of weekly learning sequences. Each learning sequence is composed of short videos interspersed with interactive learning exercises, where students can immediately practise the concepts from the videos. The courses often include tutorial videos that are similar to small on-campus discussion groups, an online textbook, and an online discussion forum where students can post and review questions and comments to each other and teaching assistants. Where applicable, online laboratories are incorporated into the course.
