Bumper bird pack, Bird Table, Small aviary & British Birds
Hello and welcome to this bumper course based around birds. In this course, we’re going to learn how to build a wooden bird table, a small wooden aviary (or small animal enclosure) and we’ll also lean about some common British garden birds. Wooden bird tableThis part of the course can be used by both the complete beginner as well as the more adept DIYer, as I go through every process step-by-step.I will take you from the very beginning and explain all the details so we can build a beautiful table for our feathered friends. Im based in the UK, and I managed to get all of the materials required for about 15, so this is a relatively inexpensive project to complete. The only materials youll require are some timber in various sizes that I go through later, some screws and some nails. The sizes Ive included in this course can also be altered to fit your own specification. Small aviary (small animal enclosure)This course can also be used by both the complete beginner as well as the more adept DIYer, as I go through every process step-by-step.I will go through every step in detail so we can build a beautiful home for our feathered or furry friends together.I managed to get all of the materials required for about 30, so this is a relatively inexpensive project to complete. The only materials youll require are some thin timber posts, some screws and nails and some chicken wire. The sizes Ive included in this course are perfect for housing any birds up to the size of a large canary, however, you can make your own aviary as large as you like to suit whatever needs you have. This aviary or enclosure could also be used to house small mammals such as hamsters, mice or rats, and you could even leave the bottom off and use it as a garden run for guinea pigs or rabbits. The options are endless! All about British garden birdsThere are over 600 species of birds that live in the United Kingdom. Whether youre sitting in your garden, walking through a park or even shopping in your local town, you are bound to hear the songs of our feathered friends. But, if youre a complete beginner to bird watching, you might not know the difference between a dunnock or a sparrow, or you might not know how to attract a robin to your bird table. Well, in this course, Im going to be going through some British garden birds. Ill talk about how to recognise them and introduce you to each species, showing you their traits and characteristics. Once you know about a bird, it becomes much more interesting to watch.
